Madressah Children and the Community of Itereleng Receive Food Parcels

Alhamdulillah, today the Institute for Islamic Services (IIS) continued its mission of serving humanity by distributing food parcels to Madressah children and members of the Itereleng community. Through the mercy of Allah (SWT), these initiatives bring relief and support to families facing daily challenges and financial hardship.

Allah (SWT) reminds us in Quran:

“And they feed, for the love of Allah, the indigent, the orphan, and the captive…”
– Qur’an 76:8

This beautiful verse reflects the spirit behind the IIS feeding initiatives—serving others sincerely for the sake of Allah, with compassion, dignity, and care.

Barakah in Sharing

One of the beautiful aspects of today’s distribution is that the IIS Madressah children receive food parcels to take home and share with their families. This practice reflects the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who taught that sharing food brings barakah (blessings) and allows it to become sufficient for many.

Through communal sharing and generosity, families are strengthened, hearts are softened, and communities are united through acts of kindness and faith.

At IIS, every feeding scheme is more than just a meal or parcel—it is a reminder of the importance of compassion, unity, and service to humanity. These efforts continue to uplift vulnerable communities while spreading hope and the beautiful teachings of Islam through action.
