Sticky Sheep Fun at IIS Crèche

Learning through play is one of the most effective ways for young children to develop essential skills, and today’s popular “Sticky Sheep” activity at The Institute for Islamic Services Laudium Crèche was both educational and enjoyable for our little learners.

Using simple materials such as cardboard, cotton balls, and adhesive, children created fluffy, textured sheep while engaging in a fun hands-on learning experience. Although the activity may appear simple, it offers numerous developmental benefits that contribute to a child’s overall growth.

The Sticky Sheep activity helps toddlers strengthen their fine motor skills by encouraging precise hand and finger movements as they pick up, position, and attach the cotton balls. It also promotes hand-eye coordination, concentration, and creativity while allowing children to explore different textures through sensory play.

At IIS Laudium Crèche, we believe that meaningful learning takes place when children are actively engaged and having fun. Activities like these help build confidence, encourage problem-solving, and support early childhood development in a safe and nurturing environment.

Through educational play, creative exploration, and Islamic values, we strive to provide children with opportunities to learn, grow, and develop important life skills that will benefit them throughout their educational journey.
