Today’s IIS Feeding Scheme in Spruitview

Alhamdulillah, the Institute for Islamic Services (IIS) continues its daily feeding initiatives, bringing relief and support to vulnerable individuals and families in Spruitview and surrounding communities.

Food insecurity remains one of the greatest challenges facing many households in South Africa. Millions of people continue to struggle with poverty, unemployment, rising living costs, and limited access to nutritious food. The impact is especially severe on children, whose health, growth, and educational development are often affected by inadequate nutrition.

Recognising this need, IIS remains committed to serving communities through its daily feeding schemes, ensuring that those facing hardship receive assistance with dignity, compassion, and care.

The teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) encourage Muslims to care for the hungry, assist the needy, and support those who are struggling. Through these feeding initiatives, IIS strives to put these values into action while bringing hope and relief to disadvantaged communities.
