Hygiene: One of the Top Priorities at the IIS Daycare Centres

At the Institute for Islamic Services (IIS) Daycare Centres, we believe that good hygiene is an essential part of a child’s overall health, well-being, and development. By teaching healthy habits from an early age, we help children build routines that will benefit them throughout their lives.

One of the most important lessons we teach is the importance of washing hands thoroughly with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds before every meal or snack. This simple daily practice helps reduce the spread of germs, promotes good personal hygiene, and protects children from common illnesses.

In Islam, cleanliness holds a special place and is closely connected to faith. By encouraging children to care for themselves and maintain good hygiene, we instil values of responsibility, discipline, and respect for the blessings that Allah (SWT) has entrusted to us.

At IIS Daycare Centres, hygiene routines are incorporated into everyday activities in a fun, positive, and age-appropriate way.
