Additional Daily Feeding Schemes at the Embassies

The Institute for Islamic Services (IIS) continues to extend its humanitarian outreach through additional daily feeding schemes at the Embassies of Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Malawi, and Nigeria in Hatfield, Pretoria. These initiatives form part of our ongoing commitment to providing relief and support to displaced migrant families during their time of need.

Many of the individuals and families receiving assistance have been displaced from their homes and are awaiting repatriation to their respective countries. During this uncertain period, they face numerous challenges, including limited access to food, clean water, and other basic necessities. Women, children, and the elderly remain among the most vulnerable, making humanitarian assistance more important than ever.

In response to these growing needs, the Institute for Islamic Services conducts daily feeding programmes at the embassies, ensuring that those awaiting repatriation receive nutritious meals and compassionate support. These efforts are carried out regardless of nationality or background, reflecting the Islamic values of mercy, generosity, and service to humanity.

The example of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) teaches us that caring for the hungry, assisting those in hardship, and showing compassion to all people are among the greatest acts of worship. Guided by these principles, IIS remains dedicated to bringing hope, dignity, and relief to vulnerable communities.

Through the generosity of our donors, volunteers, and supporters, these humanitarian programmes continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of countless displaced families. Together, we strive to ease suffering, restore hope, and uphold the dignity of every individual we serve.
