Serving Humanity During Times of Hardship

As South Africa continues to experience increasing social and economic pressures, many migrant families have found themselves facing exceptionally difficult circumstances. Displacement, food insecurity, and uncertainty have left countless women, men, and children in urgent need of humanitarian assistance.

The Institute for Islamic Services (IIS) remains committed to responding with compassion and dignity. Through its daily feeding schemes across Pretoria, IIS continues to provide nutritious meals to vulnerable communities while extending humanitarian support to displaced migrant families sheltering at various embassies.

Inspired by the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), the Institute believes that caring for those in need is a responsibility that transcends nationality, ethnicity, and social background. Islam teaches mercy, justice, and compassion for all people, particularly those experiencing hardship and displacement.

In addition to providing daily meals, IIS assists displaced families with essential necessities, helping to restore hope and dignity during times of crisis. Every act of kindness reflects our commitment to serving humanity and strengthening communities through practical support and sincere compassion.
