Today’s IIS Feeding Programme at the IIS Head Office (10 July 2026)

The Institute for Islamic Services (IIS) continues to serve vulnerable members of the community through its ongoing feeding programme at the IIS Head Office in Laudium, Pretoria. Every week, indigent individuals and families from Laudium and the surrounding areas gather to receive much-needed food assistance, helping to ease the burden of financial hardship and food insecurity.

Recognising that many families struggle to provide regular meals, the Institute ensures that beneficiaries receive sufficient food not only for themselves but also to take home and share with their loved ones over the weekend. This support helps bring comfort, dignity, and hope to households facing difficult circumstances.

The Institute for Islamic Services believes that no family should have to endure hunger. Through the generosity of donors and volunteers, IIS continues to provide practical relief to those most in need, strengthening communities through compassion, kindness, and service.

The noble example of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) teaches us that feeding the hungry and caring for those in need are among the most beloved deeds to Allah (SWT). Guided by these timeless values, the Institute remains steadfast in its mission to serve humanity with sincerity and mercy.

Every food parcel distributed and every meal shared is a reminder that even small acts of generosity can make a lasting difference in someone’s life.
